What to expect from the collaboration with TNP

Working collaboratively with the team of TAMI (Technical Assistance and Mentoring Infrastructure) Project for Parent-Run CBOs at the USC Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD), TNP will be providing a combination of membership services, consulting and training.

This project will provide participating organizations with free access to:

TNP'S FULL ARRAY OF MEMBERSHIP SERVICES

Targeting nonprofit organizations, our membership provides connections to a wider community of nonprofit professionals, discounts on our regular training offerings, access to Foundation Directory Online, and more! Find out more about our membership HERE.

CONSULTING 1:1

Personalized consulting and technical assistance starts with an initial meeting with our staff who will help provide resources (such as templates) or an introduction to one of our consultants or coaches.

  • Get up to 5 hours of coaching or consulting from one of our Affiliate Consultants
  • Learn more and sign up below
FUND DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

There will be two online courses offered, one for smaller organizations and the other for larger organizations.  Participating organizations need only sign up for one course.  TNP staff will help organizations sign-up for the course when the registration link is active.

This training, to be offered January 2023, aims to provide training and resources to help community-based organizations attain the skills to support a sustainability mindset.

  • Track 1— for smaller organizations with very limited infrastructure for fundraising
  • Track 2— for larger organizations who have had experience and have infrastructure (staff, resources, grants) in raising funds from different sources

Partnership with TNP staff

TNP team members will be meeting with all organizations to identify ways that our thought-partnership could be of help.  We will help you navigate through utilizing membership benefits, sign up for TNP classes, think through the types of resources you might need and how you might apply them, and more. We’re here to provide guidance and counsel!

You can set up meetings with our team members to discuss your needs further. An initial meeting will take place with TNP to navigate the Fund Development Assessment tool and to review our Action Planning template.

Fund Development Action Planning will help you:

  • Identify clear and attainable goals
  • Lay out steps to accomplish goals
  • Help prioritize what can be leveraged and what can be addressed
