Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am – 4pm (30 – 32 hours a week)
SUMMARY: Provides coaching, assistance, instruction, support, and advocacy to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities onsite, in the community, and remotely.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to the following:
-Instructs, trains, and supervises Members in a variety of settings throughout the community to enable them to achieve their full potential.
-Assists with developing curriculum and creative learning opportunities for Members in accordance with personal interests and experience.
-Transports Members out into the community using agency vehicle, including use of public transportation.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Must speak English
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Experience with special needs / developmental disabilities (preferred)
-Driver’s License for 3+ years required. Must be at least 21 years of age.
-Must be willing to drive an 8-passanger van.
-Authorized to work in the United States.
