In-Home Care Aide

The In-Home Care Aide – Holocaust Survivors (IHCA) position supports Holocaust survivors. Under
direction of the Director of OAS/SW program the IHCA interfaces with the JFCS Holocaust Survivors
Services team to provide and track the services survivors receive. Key elements of this position include Companion Services, In-Home Care, and providing Transportation. The IHCA will assist or supervise the survivor with such daily living activities as meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, and shopping, as well as accompanying the survivor to access services outside the home and will follow up with survivors as needed to ensure delivery of and satisfaction with services.
