Tichenor Clinic for Children’s mission is to maximize children’s abilities by providing access to therapy
and family support services. We serve children with disabilities (developmental delays, musculoskeletal
or neurological limitation, or who are recovering from surgery to correct injuries) regardless of their
family’s ability to pay. Our core programs include occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speechlanguage
therapy; an early intervention program; water safety & swim instruction; and parent support,
education, and empowerment.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fundraising & Administrative Assistant who will
support our fundraising & development team as well as our administrative team to help increase
revenue for the organization and strengthen clinic operations. The Fundraising & Administrative
Assistant will work directly with the Director of Administration & Family Services and the Director of
Development & Communications. This is a unique opportunity for an administrative professional to
impact the behind-the-scenes work of operating a community clinic and nonprofit organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
- Provide general office support: organize and maintain files and records, office
equipment/supplies, and professional physical appearance of the office.
- Act as a first point of contact for volunteer & internship inquiries, answering questions and
providing information as needed.
- Assist with the organization and execution of special events.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Fundraising, Development & Communications Support:
- Maintain accurate and timely records of donations and donor notes and communications.
- Generate reports pertaining to donors.
- Keep website up-to-date.
- Take photos of clinic activities for use in communications and on social media.
- Maintain a communications calendar and create compelling content including social media
posts, e-newsletters, and/or videos to engage and cultivate donors.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- 2-3 years of experience in a non-profit organization highly preferred
- Experience using databases and analyzing data highly preferred, Microsoft Office Suite
proficiency required
- Demonstrated ability to create content
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Education & Work Experience
High school diploma with 3 years of administrative support or Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of
administrative or development experience or any appropriate combination of education and experience.
