Announcing The Munzer Foundation’s New Grants Program: Open for Application to All Eligible Organizations!

The Rudolph J. and Daphne A. Munzer Foundation is thrilled to announce that we are now accepting applications for our 2017 grant cycle!

The deadline for Letter of Inquiry submission is February 10, 2017. Funding decisions will be announced in October 2017. 

For over 20 years The Munzer Foundation has been committed to our mission of strengthening community, family, and individuals through effective and focused philanthropy. Our grants program celebrates the legacy of our founders, Rudolph J. and Daphne A. Munzer, who strove to remove barriers and equalize access to education, healthcare, and family services so that children, youth, and families could reach their full potential.

This year, the Foundation’s annual grantmaking budget will grow to $3 million as a result of the generous bequest of the Foundation’s founder, Daphne A. Munzer. We will continue to focus our resources on supporting high-impact organizations in the communities where we live and work, with a primary focus on Long Beach, California. Grants will be made within our three core program areas:

  • Family Support Systems
  • Education
  • Healthcare

Application Process

Our grantmaking program is accessible through an open application process. We encourage you to look through our guidelines to determine if your organization or program is eligible and in alignment with one of the Foundation’s three program areas.
