The Nonprofit Partnership, in partnership with the City of Long Beach and the Office of Youth Development, is pleased to present the YOUTH 100 FUND, a citywide grant to fund youth summer programs.
Grants will be issued to organizations, informal groups, student & parent associations, school clubs, and neighborhood associations to provide summer programs for youth aged 8-24 residing in the City of Long Beach and that are most impacted by crime, COVID-19, poverty, and chronic health conditions. Examples include non-profit organizations, groups from the skate park, youth-run projects, etc. We highly encourage youth and/or groups working on the Long Beach Advancing Peace Initiative to apply for this funding.
An adult advisor is required if you are under 18. This can be any person over the age of 18 that will support you through this process. If you plan to use City of Long Beach Park Facilities, your advisor will need to be 21+. If you have trouble finding an advisor, contact us to help connect you with someone.
Grants will range from $500-$2,000 and can be used for purchasing of equipment, food, licensing rights for a movie, general liability insurance for a summer program, etc. (Grants cannot be used for uniforms, alcohol, drugs, lobbying, capital purchases, etc.)
All youth-serving groups operating within the city limits of Long Beach are eligible to apply to potentially receive funding for projects to be completed by October 13, 2023. Grant application closes April 18, 2023 at 5pm. We encourage you to apply early!
